Cow milk (gyuunyuu)

Today, i`m going to show you one of the familiar kanji that you will see in your daily life in Japan. It is the japanese character for "Cow`s milk" or "gyuunyuu" in japanese language. If you want to buy fresh milk in a supermarket in Japan, please remember the below kanji.



The kanji is the combination of kanji "gyuu (牛)" for cow, and kanji "nyuu (乳)" for milk. So 牛 + 乳 = 牛乳 = cow`s milk
