Kanji (Ni)

Today we are going to learn our 2nd kanji on the number. Previously we had learn on how to draw kanji for number "one". Today lets learn on how to write japanese character for "Ni". Ni means two. There are only 2 strokes in this kanji. Both are from left to right.

Kun-yomi for the above kanji is "Futa".
On-yomi for the above kanji is "Ni".

A few words that used kanji "二" are as below:-
Futatsu (二つ) = Two (For things)
Futari (二) = Two persons
Hatachi (二十歳) = 20 Years old
