Kanji Tsuki (Moon)

Lets learn one of the familiar kanji in life if you live in Japan. You will see this kanji in the calendar or scheduler. The kanji is "Tsuki". Tsuki means moon. Yes you can see it when the japanese write the date. It will be used with kanji Hi and Toshi.

Kun-yomi for the above kanji is "Tsuki"
On-yomi for the above kanji is "Gatsu" or "Getsu"

A few words that use kanji "月" are:-
Tsuki (月) = Moon
Getsumen (月面) = Surface of the moon
Getsumatsu (月末) = End of a month
Gekkyuu (月給) = Monthly salary
